How do add-on minutes work in a Client Sub Account?

This guide explains how free minutes and add-on minutes function within a subscription plan.

Free Minutes

  • Free minutes are utilized first and remain valid until the end of the subscription period.

  • Unused free minutes will expire at the end of the subscription cycle.

Add-On Minutes

  • Once free minutes are fully used, the system will automatically refill add-on minutes based on the client's selection on the payment page.

  • To configure auto-refill:

    • Select Manage Subscription Page → Plan Information → Refill Add-On Mins.

    • Select refill quantities ranging from 25 to 500 minutes.

  • Add-on Minutes will refill automatically when the wallet balance drops below 10% of the previous refill amount.

  • Add-on minutes do not expire and can be used as needed.

Examples of Usage → Monthly Subscription

Scenario: Subscription from 1st Oct to 31st Oct with 1,000 free minutes.

1. Unused Free Minutes:

  • If only 500 minutes are used, the remaining 500 minutes will expire on the 31st Oct.

  • On 1st Nov, a fresh allocation of 1,000 free minutes will be added.

2. Exhausted Free Minutes:

  • If 1,000 minutes are used before 31st Oct, the system will refill the add-on minutes.

  • Add-on minutes will then be utilized as per actual usage.

Note: The remaining add-on balance can be tracked on the Usage & Billing page.

Examples of Usage → Yearly Subscription

Scenario: Plan includes 1,000 free minutes per month, and the customer opts for an annual subscription.

  • 1,000 minutes/month × 12 months = 12,000 free minutes for the year.

  • The customer can use the 12,000 minutes anytime during the 12-month Subscription Period.
